What We Do
We are committed to giving vulnerable children and students access to basic education through the following:
- Establishing of sound teaching mechanism at our college
- Providing free education to those whose guardians/families are not able to afford school fees charged in many schools
- We offer free counseling to our students and their parents/guardians and students
- We provide health education to our students and their guardians
Transformational development is the process through which children/students, their families and communities identify and overcome the obstacles that prevent them from living life in all its fullness.
KEFRAMA College partners with communities to improve lives.
Through these partnerships, communities access the knowledge needed to improve the well-being of children and overcome illiteracy.
KEFRAMA College provides free access to education tailored to helping bridge the gat between the literates and non literates so that communities are better able to reduce the level of poverty in different homesteads.
By allowing community members send their children to our college, we ensure that the process of positive change can be experienced and lives changed as well as safeguarding society from possible bad characters and reducing the level of instabilities in families.
A school for the disadvantaged in the community
The insurgency has put the village in a situation where life can only come back to normal after 6 years as they will be struggling to rebuild their homes and lives, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Barr is one of the sub-counties In Erute County South. Erute south is a constituency within Lira District and it harbour Lira Municipality.
Barr sub-county is therefore 10 miles east of Lira Town-Kotido road.It has a population of about 22 thousand.
It is located in Lango sub-region which according to the 2002 Uganda Population and Housing census has a population of 1.485437.
The sub-county has only one government aided secondary school and one private school. Many families strugle to get their children to other secondary schools in other locations with a lot of difficulty due to poverty and also high school fees and reavel costs.
The school when started shall address some of these obstacles by providing scholarships to needy students and those from poor families who perform well.
Your help with this matter will be highly appreciated.
Rebuilding atfer the insurgency
Worship centers were a target by the insurgency.
Even the places that could have remained amidst the insurgency became target for attack by the rebel groups that claimed to be fighting to rule Uganda by the Ten Commandments.
Churches were burnt down as show in the previous pictures attached.
Many villages are trying to put up grass thatched church structures now as a remedy.
Thanks to God for providing local resources to help in this church building program.
